Ever meet a player who just makes you believe? That's Coen. He is not the tallest kid out there, but watch him for a few minutes, and you'll see an undefeatable spirit that's towers above the rest.
From day one, Coen's been the little guy on the team. Instead of letting that get him down, it lit a fire in him. Game after game, he steps onto the field against bigger, stronger, and often older players, and proves that heart, grit, and courage matter more than height or muscle. And, he doesn't just hold his own – he shines. There were times early on when the size difference was tough. But Coen dug in. He asked for advice, worked hard, and focused on what he could do well: think fast, control the ball, and refuse to give up. That grit became his trademark.

He's definitely heard the comments about his size. But there was this one time recently, playing as a guest with an older team, that really stuck out. The other team straight-up laughed when he stepped on the field, acting like he wasn't even there. It would've been easy for that to knock his confidence. But Coen? He used it. Didn't say a word back, just let his footwork do the talking. He hustled harder, played smarter, and gave every single thing he had. He walked off the field with his head held high, proving that true ability and spirit transcends physical stature.
Now, Coen's making his mark, showing everyone what he's got. His coaches describe him as “fearless” and will tell you he's getting more confident with every game, learning to trust his instincts, and shows a level of composure beyond his years. They see a kid with grit, passion, and skill. He’s proven that skill (and spirit) can beat size any day. He arrives early for practice, puts in the work. He demonstrates his leadership skills by cheering his teammates on, through his unselfish play, and by being a good friend to everyone.
And the stats speak for themselves – he's the top scorer on his team! Coen's showing everyone that it's not about how big you are; it's about how big your determination is and how much you're willing to fight for what you want. He plays big, dreams bigger, and proves every time he touches the ball that true warriors come in all sizes.
