Where It All Started
As I sat on the sidelines watching my kids, I'd hear chatter in the distance about who was guest playing, who got invited to tryout for a new team, who went to the new soccer training program, and more, which got me thinking....
How do only some select parents / players hear of extra soccer opportunities to advance their skills? Where do they find these things?
Sometimes they are offered extra opportunities because of their skill level, and sometimes it’s who or what you know. As a result, it seemed like many worthy players became overshadowed or just don't have access to the soccer opportunities they need to be a stand out player.
Naturally, I thought of my kids. So I decided to do some searching. I found opportunities buried in social media feeds and on random websites. Trying to navigate the maze of youth soccer options was overwhelming!
There was no single soccer source - for all players - to access skill advancing opportunities. Opportunities needed to be made easily available and accessible to all.Â
As a result, Soccer Unleashed - a youth soccer search engine - was created. It’s a comprehensive and filterable soccer catalog that unleashes opportunities (trainings, tryouts, showcases, guest play, pick-ups, and more) buried inside social media feeds and scattered on different websites, so every player can find their own opportunities and choose the path that showcases their talent and achieve their goals.
*Soccer Unleashed is a youth soccer catalog of opportunities that focuses on opportunities in the East Coast, and will grow out from there.
Who Am I?
I began playing soccer in third grade, and retired in my late twenties after playing in college. Years later, I earned my coaching license and had the pleasure of coaching youth soccer teams. Now, I am a proud soccer mom (and play other roles) who is passionate about giving every youth soccer player access to soccer opportunities that can help them showcase their skills and achieve their goals.
I believe every passionate and driven player, regardless of their current level, deserves a shot to advance and to be recognized! They only get one chance, now is the the time.
